In this passage, Jude begins by confirming the presence of the pre-incarnate Jesus in the Old Testament; then goes on to remind the church about three past instances that should serve as warning sirens: The Wilderness Generation and their sin of unbelief, The Fallen Angels and their sin of rebellion, and finally, Sodom and Gomorrah and their sin of unrestrained sexual immorality and perversion.
